Mercedes-Benz R&D Kicks Off Recruitment for the Online Advisory PanelJune 7, 2017
On Monday, June 5, 2017, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America kicked off its 2017 recruitment for the Mercedes-Benz Online Advisory Panel.
Throughout the year, panel advisors take 6-10 surveys where they can share their thoughts on emerging topics in today’s world like self-driving cars, electric mobility, artificial intelligence, interior features, design, and more. Panelists also receive the unique opportunity to preview new concepts and provide early-stage feedback.
The Online Advisory Panel plays a vital role in strengthening the relationship between Mercedes-Benz and its customers.
Our goal is to design new features that customers find useful and desirable,” says Eric Larsen, U.S. Research Director at MBRDNA. “Asking our customers directly allows us to pinpoint what’s important to them.”
MBRDNA researchers transfer these insights to global teams of designers, engineers, and executives throughout Mercedes-Benz.
This year, the panel is also open to a select group of individuals who do not own a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. “Innovation at Mercedes-Benz influences the entire automotive industry,” says Larsen. “We welcome a diverse group of panelists who want to support that mission.”
