The Los Angeles Technology Center focuses on the certification and development of Mercedes-Benz products to meet federal emission regulations. In addition, the Technology Center offers emissions testing and project management services to outside manufacturers and third parties.
The Tech Center is equipped with a highly versatile and experienced staff as well as state-of-the-art testing equipment to provide unsurpassed quality in emission testing. Amongst the services offered are a full range of exhaust emissions and diurnal testing for certification and development (Pre, Post, and Dilute Sampling) of gasoline, diesel, and alternative fueled vehicles and all testing is CARB and EPA compliant.
